I hope I can continue to find courage in the face of fear and disease. It is possible, I see examples of this kind of courage all the time. I recently went to services for a woman who kept company with grace and steadiness in the face of difficulty.  Lived with ongoing courage in the face of pain, disease and growing disability until she died.

She had faith God’s plan, in the plan of the universe.  Her sister said in her eulogy she helped everyone.  She helped in action when she could and by example when her body and mind failed her. Now she is at peace.  Her spirit gained wisdom from traveling with courage while navigating tough experiences in embodied life.

Life delivers many opportunities to explore courage and grow from tough grey foggy challenges.  Situations where there is no easy answer.  Courage is strength in the face of trouble and pain. When we face difficulty it feels uncertain.  We shine light and discover ourselves in our choices.
